how_to_play_02

  • Press the circle button to perform a BP (brave points) attack, repeatedly press it to do combos. Doing so will deplete your opponents BP and add it to your own BP
  • Press the square button to perform an HP ( an attack towards your opponents health) attack. The HP attack is slow but when it hits, you will damage your opponent’s health equivalent to your BP. For example, you have 345 BP and decide to do a HP attack, if it hits, you damage your opponent for 345 HP and your current BP turns to zero. Then you have to start comboing opponent again to gain more BP (see also picture)
  • Break status is gotten when you deplete your opponent BP to zero. If your opponent reached Break status, you will receive the BP in the BP pool (the Brave points in between you and your opponent health bar)

  • Keep hitting your opponent with combo attacks and he will drop small EX orbs that you can collect to fill your EX gauge with. If you wait for a while the EX orbs will be drawn to EX cores. There are two different EX cores, EX cores with one wing fills 1/2 of your EX gauge while two winged EX cores fully fills up your ex gauge.
  • The EX gauge is the purple crystal bar next to your character image during gameplay. When the EX gauge is full you can enter EX mode. During ex mode you get status changing buffs like protect and haste and you get stronger and different combo attacks during EX mode.
  • To enter EX mode, have your EX gauge full and then press R-trigger+square buttons to activate EX mode.(Note: the picture above is wrong button :P, it says square + X button)
  • If you do a HP attack during EX mode, a square icon will show up on the screen. Press the square to perform a EX burst (note: if HP attack is successful, your BP Turns to zero like normal. you dont get keep your BP during an EX burst.)
  • EX burst works kinda like limits in FF7. The EX burst will first start out as a mini-game with you keep attacking with your combo attack to build up your BP and if you complete the mini-game you will do one last attack in form of a HP attack for massive damage

Tactics/Strategy Battle

  • When you make the first attack the first thing you need to do is collect some BP from enemy, use the O (circle button). And you can collect some EX orb to fill your EX gauge too.
  • When the enemy left no BP / Break.. that’s mean you’ll get some extra BP from there (make sure it’s big >.< the total maybe more than 800++ ? ). Use HP attack (square button) to damage the enemy, that will make some big damage.
  • When the EX Orb is gather in one place, you’ll see it flies to 1 point.. go there quickly before your enemy !! there’s EX cores with wings(or wing ?) that can fill your EX gauge faster .
  • I just found how to run faster to the EX cores with wing/s (but you must have action ability Dash forward and Equip it, the one with R-trigger+triangle), first press L-trigger to change the target (from enemy to EX cores with wing/s). Once you targeted the EX cores with wing/s press R-trigger+triangle button, your character will dash~ run run !! :3
  • When your EX gauge full, press R-trigger+square button for EX mode. Hit the enemy with HP attack (square button) then continue to the instruction on the screen, press square button, then (press xxx button?). Note : xxx here different for one to another char, e.g: Cloud must press O button rapidly.. then you’ll see the limit break.
  • No need to make you gauge full all the time, if the enemy already have a few/little blood (red).. just kill it already >.<
  • When you use BP attacks(circle button), make sure you’ll hit the enemy to the air, or just make some big distance. For what ? Combos, yeah when there’s a big distance/no walls around there will be instruction to hit X button attack(circle button), again , again and again.. yeah combos rules >.< ( just make sure that when the enemy dodge your attack during the combo, you must dodge too (press R-trigger+X button) then attack(circle button)).
  • Some time you’ll see cursor, not only on the wall… but also at life stream(at some stage).. Press Triangle button to ride on the stream..

Okay the last one maybe not strategy , i just found it for fun or run faster. I hope This strategy will help you too.. Please add some comment if you want me to add something, or tell me if there’s some mistake i make (e.g: wrong button). Thanks
