Brahne, the queen of Alexandria, is using highly advanced magical weapons to menace neighboring nations. Dispatched by the king of a threatened kingdom, a group of bandits, named Tantalus, set out to stop the queen form achieving her goal of world domination, only to discover that she is a mere puppet in a far more sinister plot. A powerful sorcerer, named Kuja, is the one responsible for supplying Brahne with the magical weapons. What are his goals? Where did his weapons come from?
