Razard calls Zack to the briefing room, he has a new mission. He is to go to both Angeals’ and Genesis’ hometown Banola with Tseng.


  You should go check the support box and check your training missions as more have become available for you. When you are ready to begin your next mission go talk to Tseng.

  Banola has been taken over by Genesis and the town is overrun by Genesis clones, so there will be a couple of fights around town. Tseng tells you that Genesis has stolen a weapon from ShinRa, and that the weapon is dangerous to the company and needs to be destroyed.

  The boss is a big machine, so your thunder magic is strong against it. When it uses its Magnet net don’t get to close to it because it will hurt you pretty severely. When you try to get behind the machine it will jump and use an attack that will cast stop on you so be careful of that.



  After the battle Tseng tells Zack that this machine is made by a ShinRa Technician, when they go into town Zack meets Angeals mother. She tells Zack that Genesis had come back a while ago and killed a lot of people and then Angeal came back too, he put his Bustersword at home then he disappeared again. Zack tells Angeals’ mother to go and hide out of town, but she refuses as she does not believe that Genesis will kill her.



  Tseng noticed something as they entered the village, it was the grave of Genesis mother and father. Sephiroth refused this mission because he didn’t want to cause problems between himself, Angeal and Genesis. Though Zack still doesn’t know why Sephiroth asked him to do this mission.

  At the back of the village Tseng finds a factory, he asks Zack to climb in through the roof to see what is inside. On the second floor of the factory Zack meets Genesis.

   Angeal interrupts the fight between Zack and Genesis, Angeal looks as if he is hiding something from the others. When Zack gets to the first floor, both Genesis and Angeal have disappeared. Tseng catches up to Zack and tells him that ShinRa plans to destroy the whole city as it is a threat to the company.

   At this point there is a mini-game where you have to successfully disarm the bomb, If you cut the wires correctly you will gain some extra time to get back to Angeals home. If you get enough time you can go back to the lightning places where if you check them you can receive some good Items. You just arrive back at Angeals home just in time.

  When you enter Angeals home you find that his mother is dead and Angeal is standing beside her. Zack becomes so angry at Angeal that he cant stop himself from trying to attack him. Before Zack lands any hard hits Genesis appears and takes Angeal away without any explanation, as he leaves he Summons Bahamut. Looks you have got your work cut out for you being attacked by the king of the Dragons.

  Luckily most of his attacks can be defended but some of his attacks will hit you hard even if you try to defend it, so keep your HP above 500 and you should be fine. Sometimes he will fly to a place where you cant beat him down with your sword so stand back and hit him with your best magic.

     "We are monstesr , We have lost both our dreams and our pride.” says Genesis horrified of what he has done. He then opens his black wing and flies away. Soon after Zack and Tseng leave the village is destroyed by ShinRa.
