The album piano of Final Fantasy XIII is available starting today in the CD format in Japan, and on Itunes for the inhabitants of the West. At this occasion, Square Enix announced that its musical branch will organize a concert the 28th August. The pianist Aki Kuroda will be present in the Shinjiku Island room of Tokyo to play the tracks of this new disc, in presence of the compositor Masashi Hamauzu.
The entry will be free, but the 200 lucky who will attend this event will be selected by a draw of lottery via the site of the members of Square Enix. A special page was started to subscribe.The new myth of the drama
As said at the beginning of the month, the next album linked to Final Fantasy XIII will be a drama. SE have officially announced it with an official site. The CD is still scheduled for the 15 September at the price of 3000 Yens. Fabula Nova Dramatica α will propose a spoken version (only in Japanese) of the book Episode Zero -Promise-. The Japanese voicers Maaya Sakamoto (Lightning) and Daisuke Ono (Snow) will give their voices one more time.
To bring interest to the CD, a new chapter have been recorded. Besides, the first editions ill have a script of the drama.
If the portal site of the relative albums to FFXIII count another hidden disc, the secert doesn't last long as the obi of the piano collection reveal a Fabula Nova Dramatica Ω. Still no informations about it have been communicated.
Musical scores for piano
Finally and as expected, a book of musical scores for the piano album of FFXIII will be edited soon, the 20th August to be more precise. Published by Yamaha, this book of 60 pages will propose the scores of the ten piano tracks represented on the CD.The site of the editing house already warned that a lot of skill is necessary to master the arrangements of Hamauzu. If you are a master at the piano, the japanese branch of Amazon already allow you to pre-order the book.
